If your seeing that kind of back swing, your dead key out of the amp is to high. Lower the dead key of your radio into the amp. Marconi hit it right on the head.

Which radios are Giant producing for Cobra now ? I found a website for Giant Electronics and they are based out of Singapore. It showed the 25NW, and the 29 as being produced by Giant. I've heard they are better than the China built Cobra's...
