extra is hard only because of some of the question are stupid. its in the wording, and the other hard questions are not explained, you have to know about polar coordinates.
selling my b&k 1040 servicemaster, handy little tool for messing around with radios. built in 100w dummy load and connects to a scope and signal generator. i don't have any cables for it or an owners manual. i haven't used the recieve side sence way back in the late 90's when i got it. the...

no local activity around here in years. if i want to talk i would have to shoot skip and thats going away in a few years like normal. some of us moved in ham radio so we keep touch that way.
i would buy my 5r+ 30 times over again. its been solid and never failed me. only thing i broke on it was the retention tab on the battery when it fell off the fridge. there all over the area now and even the local club uses them for door prizes at meetings. my buddy and my cousin just took there...
you should receive 2 of them. bending the legs is the hardest part. its pretty straight forward how to replace them. just take a picture so you get the transistor right.
that's what im thinking as well. its just a transistor you have to replace. if you turn it on and its bad you lose the receive. it cannot make you change frequency.
i did one in my dx350 this spring. get them from ebay for a few bucks
i could have an automatic recorder playback built. for way less than that. all you do is set your squelch and walk away. it records and plays back all by its self.
