the simple fix it to make one with just a vfo. no channel selector, rci could make the 2950 and 70 legit by just losing the ch1-40 set ability. just run a vfo and you avoid the law completely.

100w from the radio or amp? 100 out of the amp is about right for medium. its uses a pair of 2990's or mrf 455's.

thats because when you buy them new they only work with a cw keyer. you pull the crystal out and they work.
