Here is my mobile setup bugs out works like a champ cobra 148f gtl ts dx 667v wilson 1000 antenna (love the wilson 1000 tunes perfect flat best mobile antenna ive had) i made sure i had 14.4 volts at the amp via 6 ga wire works awesome

off my 148f its clean, had the music radio on and talking with 550 watts or so whatever it puts out and didnt bother the stereo at all?? im like wow ive had alot of amps in my day this is the 3rd 667 ive had both the others would have just blasted the stereo lol

Ok as i get the bugs out converting this amp im liking it better and better NOTE; dont leave any leads open on the variable pot like the old ones, makes a dead spot and makes the pot work like shit like the old ones. I love the way you can control the power now not just deadkey like the old ones...

no i havent bought one yet i spent my radio allowance on a new ts 667v for my 148f man it works good now too, the new hybrid 667s are a bit different you dont leave a lead on the varible pot open like the old ones

thats why i bought it was for my 148f ive had 667s before and they're sure not what they used to be. .y 148 will dead key about 2 1/2 to 3 watts and swing about 15 on am and will do 18 to 20 on ssb, the same radio used to drive my old 667 make close to 700 watts, these new ones the hybrid ones...

the 667s were made to go with single final radios thats why i bought one its a new hybrid one wit 2 mosfets driving DEI 2879s i have a cobra 148f gtl i wanted this amp for and im a bit underwhelmed 500 watts tops i ran 6 ga wire to it did all that and the wires coming out of the amp are small...

took out the oscillator board like directed radio wont key the amp rec amp will work all the buttons light up but it wont key or the light in the meter wont work
