The PL-880 is a stellar radio. You can either get an active loop antenna to put outside or just walk outside in the evening and get away from your house and you will see the PL-880 pull in quite a few stations pretty clear with just the stock antenna on it. I immediately noticed the background...

I have the Satellit 750 also. I purchased rechargeable D Batteries and haven't looked back. I still use the power cable but only when I need to recharge my batteries.

I agree, I absolutely love Tecsun Radios. I have the PL-880 too and it really pulls in those shortwave stations especially if I go out in the back yard and get away from all of the RF Interference. I need to get an outdoor antenna setup and run some coax in to my office to my radios. I have the...
