Io sono 100% Italiano, mamma e babbo Friulani, nato in Italia e venuto in Canada nel 1993.
Sopra avevo scritto in Italiano e adesso e’ stato cambiato in inglese e scritto male!
(y)(y)(y) Forza Italiani!
I'll try to see if it does SSB automatically because I haven't seen any buttons. Shipping will be expensive!
I am Friulian but I live in Canada.
Ciao
Hey ForestRunner98, since you mentioned the NMO to PL adapter, are using the SIRIO where you had a LARSEN? If so, did you see a gain in performance and range with the SIRIO?
Thanks for the update Cabover Bob(y). Like you, I don’t think it really matters to get lost behind the particulars of antenna theory and science, because all mobile installs are not created equal anyway. As long as you do the best you can with a really good antenna, good cable, good grounding...
Definitely an addiction, one I can relate too:)(y).I have yet to buy a front mic CB! I am sure that @Slowmover agrees that you do measure up to the side mic standard! Side mic forever:)(y):)(y)
You bet! I also always use full synthetic ATF (you do a lot with 1 quart) and use an air compressor powered automotive type spray gun (you have to turn the pressure down on the low side).
For the "finicky stuff" or something like the rims I remove them and use a brush to lightly coat the areas...
The shutters look good, and nobody could tell what you used unless you tell them! I have to admit that ATF is very versatile; I spray ATF every fall on the underside of my truck because of the super corrosive brine that they spray on the roads in the winter in my area. I experimented with a lot...
Can you elaborate? I taught the IMAX and the GAINMASTER were somewhat similar (comparing oranges to oranges)! Are you saying that both are not worth buying?
What would be a good choice for a base antenna?
True! Not to mention the fact that in the U.K.,for many years, there were a lot of rallies for the legalization of AM on the 27mhz CB band because they only had FM. Sometimes people only want what they don't have!
Not trying to create more work for you, but if you were able to do a video about the DDS VFO in a 148 gtl, it would be a very interesting and informative video. Is it a complicated install?
Looks interesting and a cool update for the older units (saw the video on CB radio magazine).
