Just worked S51DX Janez in Slovenia. I had turned down to 10w and he gave me a 5/9 and booming signal report. SSB of course. I'm thinking the band is open to Europe

10 meter is very quiet?

Tried 10w to 4X5LL Israel. He could hear me but not make out my callsign correctly. Still, a 10w signal goes 6200 miles on an open band. Fun stuff.
