We've had a couple of nice little band openings on 10 meters in the last few days. Good paths from here in IL to the eastern US. Very strong signals without much fading.

Me and a couple of friends have been hanging out on 28.405usb in the evenings if anyone wants to give a try. I am N9RZF David in St Joseph, IL.

Dave 60 meter has been wide open to the east coast.

I dont know if you remember Skip from Joliet but he was making alot of contacts using the Yaesu FT-817ND 5 watt radio.

Big sigs at night time!

Generally what time of nite does 60m open? And out of the 5 frequencies is there one that has more activity. Just curious as i have not heard much on 60. Hamer from your QTH can you work the west coast?

On edit: Hamer on 60m can you work west coast?
