Yes I am very happy with it. It has great ears and the build quality seems top notch. Great gateway drug in to SSB.
This is a company owned ride so I don't wan't to get to crazy with installing stuff. Its already got tons of other electronics stuff hacked in for my job, It burns I don't want to get the finger pointed at my stuff lol
My Jeep is another story though. I plan on putting a respectable setup in there. I have been lurking in your big truck thread. Thanks for documenting your battles with RFI. My JK jeep is an electrically noisy piece but I'll bet its nothing like what is going on in a modern big truck.
Thx
A friend of mine has a JK. I haven’t found a good install online on which to model such for his. (Haven’t searched as diligently as if it were mine).
Would appreciate your JK install in a thread.
As to big trucks:
You could do the job without it, but you wouldn’t want to once given adequate exposure to a good rig & operator. (Training is weeks of riding with an experienced hand).
The workday has seams.
Those can start to come apart.
CB is Rescue Tape.
If the seams don’t separate,
the workday retains its integrity.
Momentum isn’t movement alone, it’s in being able to absorb typical disturbances.
Untypical or atypical disturbances can be regular. And are deeply unwanted. The CB radio keeps those fabric panels together.
Call those seams & panels, sails.
