11 meter is very quiet?

Getting Canada good. Hearing 184 in San Fran bay all they way here in my Connecticut mobile but can’t make the contact. To much competition from big stations here in ct/nyc.
One interesting DX comes in and they call keyup at once then no one makes the contact

Heard some traffic on 38 lower side band this afternoon. Among them was San Francisco, San Diego, and Las Vegas. My friend 135 Wilmington Delaware to the north of me was working them all. Unfortunately I just didn't have time to sit down and key the mic. I will get all my chores done so I can get some DX time in on Sunday.

As one goes around the country it’s the rock haulers one will hear the most. Usually a soap opera in progress.

“Yeah, it’s five-hundred loads and we got two-hundred of them”.

I was cleaning out on the patio this morning, I have a mobile set up on a power supply back there.
There was dx running in the background most of the morning but I was to busy to stop and play radio.
I also scanned 28.3 to 28.5 for about a hour but heard nothing.
Will give it a go this evening when I get finished.

I never hear much on 10m. But then I drop my call on 28.4USB and get a response. Everyone is sandbagging sitting back waiting for someone else to call CQ but then no one ever does. When 11M is rolling with skip on every other channel you click up to 10 and its crickets
