Tonight on 27.385 LSB Jamaica was coming in around 9 and just washing everyone else out on the band or so it seems,tried making contact,no go as it was coming and going so quickly up here in Central Pennsylvania!!

The band is really open this morning. Talked to Alabama, Tennessee, and Indiana on 28. On 40 lsb I talked to Tennessee and we had the channel all to ourselves. Just goes to show that even if you don't hear anyone, it's worth calling out. Ch 38 lsb is a hornets nest, and people often go to the other channels around it. Listening to 38 while doing some stuff around the house. Heard someone talking to 25 Japan, although I could not hear them. Must have been west coast skip or something.

Around noon, I heard Witch Doctor West Indies calling Alabama and Tennessee and nobody heard him to get back. I called out to him and we had a nice little QSO before conditions dropped. I should have asked him which island he was on.
