I talked to 000 Alabama on his Anytone 5555 with a Heath Kit. He sounded pretty good, and said that he turned up the modulation and then the one beside it until it did 50 watts. It must have been the am hi power pot?

Made a few contacts today NE Arkansas to San Diego the 142 seems to be working good. Its raining .... cant plant oats in the rain ... LOL ... Well maybe wild oats

Man, 38 lsb was coming in hot this evening. Then the storms rolled in and had to shut the station down. Lightning too close for comfort.

On the road AGAIN. I am in eastern Colorado and it is quite, did make a contact earlier to Montana earlier, so that was nice. Parked for the night and these apu's on the truck near me kill my recieve.
I did talk to WT59 the other day from home though, I believe he is down there somewhere close to New Orleans. I really enjoy hearing those voices from different parts of the country and sometimes world.

Talked to my pal and forum member Leo (357magnum) on 21 AM then moved to .375 LSB.

That started out by a guy local to me in NC sending me a text saying “Skip guys in Rhode Island on 21 AM are calling for you big time”.
