Tried to get out last night on .385 but didn't make contact with anyone. Heard a guy who runs a CB shop up in Molalla OR, but couldn't get back to him.
Heard quite a few Reno stations last night in the short time Ihad the radio on...no contacts.
Was running a homemade sloping dipole and SDR specan.

I feel everyone's pain. I might be retired but you wouldn't know it if you seen my To Do list. Trying to do all the things I couldn't when I was making the poor man's dollar. Trying to get this property ready for sale if I don't end up in a Old Soldiers Home first. LOL
The band may be good today, already worked BC and Idaho from the mobile this morning.

Was able to make a nice contact with Seattle Washington! Totally jazzed! First contact in a few weeks. It’s still working!!
Here in Southern Oregon the skip has been short skip, lots of S.Cal, Idaho, Montana and Canada. Haven't heard any from the East Coast lately.
