Made my first DX contact in two weeks with 640 Nevada operator John on 40LSB last night. About an S3 and the only station I heard at the time. Good QSO. Faith in equipment restored...

I didn't even turn on the Ranger today but once earlier in the morning and it was absolutely quiet, just spent time with my Dad and Son watching football together and eating Hotdogs and taking a nap........

A few contacts this afternoon, one in 2 in Florida, 1 in Oregon, and 2 in Pennsylvania but they were all rough. I spent about 20 minutes and called it a day.

According to The space weather woman it should get better in a couple of days.
