yes i can go lots of places with my 955.
i think its the holy grail of radios. but im sure more brands are as capable. but in my50 so years radioing the 955 is king. i will now fall off my soap box n hope we chat again sometime jeff. been few years as i remember. wasnt it before start of this solar cycle by couple years. might be off a couple

It's been to long for sure, we have Family here for Christmas( I looked at the radio this morning and my wife gave me that look. That look) so it will be a challenge to work DX today lol.

Well Dad and I just got home from Christmas dinner at our local church, very well attended,as for Dxing on Christmas,I made contact with 4 stations out there all in Texas,one of them being WDX 226 Brother Dxer, been a very Blessed Christmas that I'm able to spend time with my kids and my 85 yr old Dad,got to be thankful for the time God gives us All, have a good night and Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!

Thanks, Bro. I got on for about an hour in the morning and then for a few hours in the afternoon. It was a stellar DX day. I logged stations in 26 states today. Arizona, California, Colorado, Washington State, Idaho, Nebraska, Utah, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisanna, Mississippi, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Maine, Minnesota, and Ontario Canada. Incredible DX. Mostly on 37 LSB, and a few on 39 LSB. 35 USB was a dud, as usual. I tried calling CQ - WDX off and on all day, but no luck. Tried WDX 226 every time I heard a Texas station, but again no luck.
Got to renew my Driver's License tomorrow, so maybe only late evening DX, if it's there.
