11 meter is very quiet?

It was rockin' good with Downunder and the western states up until around 4pm our time then it started to die off.
Still hearing Alaska and a few weak Japan and Phillipines stations coming in on 555 around 6pm PST but it's all done now.

Conditions have been hanging in there......not as good as a couple weeks ago but still lots going on all across the band!

that was me that said controls tad snug.
as for 980 yes ok to set n leave. dang beep though is a bogus claim to try say hams do that.

Yeah me too (honey-do's). The back yard is mine field after all of last week's antenna werk. PVC and aluminum pipe... Pieces of old dacron line and electrical tape just ready to wrap around a lawnmower spindle and stuff like that, and it's strewn everywhere.. Even an uprooted, upside-down tower base has become a new monument.

The new owner of the tower said he wanted it, so there it sits until he can get a massive fork lift and a flatbed to load it on. Yeah --- me too... THIS, I gotta see!

The noise levels (both man-made and this latest solar flare) have me shut-down down here in Fl with 9Db+ of 'Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz'. Maybe early morning tomorrow it'll open up.

Haven't been on the radio a lot during the week due to work,etc, however I'm looking forward to the Sun 35 USB WWDX Net and hopefully make some contacts with fellow WWDX Members out there , just turned on the Ranger and gave a shout-out,made contact with a 453 out of Central Texas this evening..............

drat no radioing today. my daughter comes down for her birthday.
noise on radio? last nite dead quiet when nobody spoke on my 955, closest friend to me 35 miles had no noise either. however where i got my tower from ,they had lots of noise

Well I was able to make one contact:#302
from Texas on 37 LSB , however I was unable to make any contact with WWDX Members on 35 USB today,had a bit of Qrm and stations talking from time to time on AM on the channel,did anyone else make any contact with fellow operators???? Hopefully next Sunday will provide better conditions overall, hopefully you guys did better than me out there in Dxing,etc .....

I hear ya, right now I'm hearing that dumb 1111111 Guy on 38 LSB at the moment, hitting my receive between 3-7 at the moment......
