11 meter is very quiet?

Red , That's my buddy Ralph ! He has a better supply of ammo than Walmart .... and that's when they had a lot on the shelf ! Mines all stored in a foot locker w/ moisture preventive .

hustler sells a 102 worth the money, hustler been around long time

Just curious..
How can there be any difference in a 102? Better quality metal? Figuring it is just a length of tapered stainless steel, not like a fiberglass that by changing the winding design would change its performance. I always figured a length of stainless is a length of stainless - find the cheapest and run with it.

Just don't get it caught in a garage door - rips that little ball off the end, bends it all up, and knocks the cable out of the pullies so you snap the spring trying to put it back in place in your inexperienced garage door repair...

This is the 3rd one on this rd. Two of them in the city of Poughkeepsie in the same spot. 30 mph. Once with a cop right behind me. .
This one tonight was running. From my left side I saw it and locked the brakes. Just not enough warning/time to not hit it on the right side of the car.
Deer didn't make it.
The car...Bumper. headlight, grill, hood, and fender. Hood is pushed into fender near the windshield. I can smell antifreeze. And the AC condenser has some bad spots from the grill and horn hitting it.
I will look it over in the morning when its light outside.

Man....bad deal there! NY counties need to put up some deer crossing signs. It's not right they keep crossing and getting hit. With designated deer crossing locations the deer would have "safe spaces" to cross and not get run over awl the time.

I apologize, but just couldn't help it. Been drinking.

I did have a very large doe end up in front seat of truck, came in through the passenger window. Really f'd up the truck. Have hit several, one on a motorcycle.

Sorry about your car man. This is where having a loud exhaust helps. If they can hear you coming in the distance, then they are prepared. It's when they hear a sound like rushing air coming fast, instinctively it's like a mountain lion is pouncing and they get spooked. Delaware just passed a bill a while back that dropped the noise restriction requirements for all vehicles. Helps people see the motorcycles too. The big block 460 in my avatar really sings with dual glass packs and 3 inch turn outs in front of the back wheels.

Or an oilfield bumper. Hit a buck in a 367 Peterbilt at 71-mph. He changed direction on me. Figured I’d damaged the grille at least. Stopped at a truck stop several miles on. Nope. Lost a couple of lug nut covers.

That buck exploded. In three pieces. Head and neck one direction. Forequarters another. And hindquarters yet another.

Guy I was working for had patterned the tractors after Baker-Hughes. One of the big boys. Except — stout as was theirs — ours were something else again. Rounded leading upper edge.

We pulled pneumatic trailers (barite; used as a flowback agent). Had a pair of Wilson 2000s on it with a Galaxy 99v2 which Robert at Clays Radio Shop had set up. 25-30 miles at night wasn’t unusual out west of Junction, TX. (Grinding mills on Gulf Coast to points inland. Eagle Ford, Permian, etc).

The rural Texas pickup owners I know advise — when price balk on a RANCH HAND bumper appears — that one will pay a good deal more in damages with a deer strike. And the potential unreliability which can arise after repairs to engine-driven accessories.

Quality of materials used, there are many grades of SS ....304, 308, 316.....how well were the components put together? Good QA/QC? Reputation of manufacturing. USA Made (y) vs. Chinese Crap (n)

Gotta get my Ranch Hand mounted, bought used but like new. There is a skid pan available that is designed to attach to bumper to protect steering components underneath in even of collision with hogs, dogs, deer, sheep, goats, cats, bats, and rats....Armadillo, raccoons, and opossum.
