We went from 555 to 590 and I was there about 10 minutes. Other than Mario, I didn't hear anyone else. I caught the tail end of it today.Must have just missed you 226 ! I was on 590 about an hour ago with Mexico, but had to go run a couple errands.
That's because Dildo-duck is running good 'ole AM mode, which is basically both sidebands plus a carrier signal. Listening to AM in either LSB or USB mode you will hear a tone from the carrier and the audio........why could I hear him equally clear on 19 upper and lower SSB?
I'll have to look into that some more, that's where the wife is from. It's not. You just technically have to have a permit though many do not.
That's where my old Cobra 2000 was made so that wasn't adding up.Maybe in the same way that freeband is illegal here LOL!
I talk to the Philippines on a fairly regular basis from here in the late afternoon / early evening and there seems to be lots of stations there.
Lol, I kind of miss what used to be locals around here in a Squish Squash every once in awhile.I tell you they're replicating. I genuinely don't get what these tortured, friendless souls get out of blocking coms. I can appreciate the random "squish dummy" or "shut up stupid" but the endless transmitting of blocking signals just for the purpose of ruining everyone else's fun....I'm guessing these are what the high school bullies grew up to be.
Mine also. Cagayan de Oro.I'll have to look into that some more, that's where the wife is from.
I had to Google that one that looks like a nice place.Mine also. Cagayan de Oro.
We did a van tour for a week plus of a lot of spots on Luzon, the whole of the bataan death march road, some very old churches (some collapsed in later earthquakes sadly) famous caves, tons of other locally famous lighthouses and other places. Great place and people for sure. I didnt make it to Fort Drum unfortunanly we ran out of time. I could see it from the shore bt no time to charter a boat and go out to it.I had to Google that one that looks like a nice place.
Mine's from Lingayen. I didn't know until after I was there two or three times and Googled it that's where we( USA) had our amphibious Landing to liberate the Philippines from the Japanese. Nice people
