11 meter is very quiet?

Yesterday I was in the listening mode with my Cobra 2000 & West Mountain Radio CLRdsp ClearSpeech Signal Processor and could hardly believe I was listening to 11 Meter radio. Further Exploration is in order. LOL
 
Just had a great qso with WDX 226(Brother Dxer) from West Texas,the conditions were alittle wonky but we gotter done, always great hearing from my Radio Friends out there in DX Land,hope everyone has a great Sunday ahead and may the conditions favor snagging lots of DX for everyone!

    So I have a cobra 138xlr and the meter dose not work... It dose not key up and signal dose not work.... It is not stuck it the meter moves freely. now wires are resoldered on both ends...So now that do I look at. Could it be a diode or a transistor?
