11 meter is very quiet?

I realize everyone may not have the ability, but I highly recommend 27.415, 425, or 435 LSB when skip is running. Hardly any traffic and a much better chance to make a contact and close enough tune wise to not be an issue. 37 is a Cluster when skip is rolling - at least here with 10+ stations all the time and just a big pile up that only the strongest can be clearly heard.

Just a thought.

425 is even worse than 38 most of the time. The two frequencies I avoid (and have removed from all my radios memories) are 385 and 425 LSB. Where the craziest crazies are........... you will be a better person by avoiding those two LOL!

My favorite frequencies for DX for what it's worth are 420, 430 435 440 445 & 515 LSB, 26805 FM, and of course 555 USB and frequencies near it ending in '0'.
I generally don't operate on the regular 40 unless conditions are bad, in which case I'll sometimes be on 36 or 37.

I agree the "0"'s are better but I was trying to accommodate the folks with channelized radios that can't get on the "0"'s easily. Right now I am on 435LSB.

I'm going to give DXland a try starting at 11 AM today. I know on weekends, the crazies are out in force, but still gonna give it a shot. 37 LSB. I will also call for WDX members on 35 USB. Hope I can catch a few members.

Well today I made contact with a fellow WWDX Member( Unit 399 J.J) but other than that nice little Qso,the air waves up my way today have been up and down, 38 LSB was Nutty as usual, one of the main reasons I stay on 37 LSB which is usually clear at least for me up here in Central PA, took a nap this afternoon and did some food shopping, might get back on the radio after 6pm and give a shout-out on 37 LSB,hope other's had a good Dxing experience today...........

Conditions are a little too good today. Heard JJ in a huge pileup on 37. Clowns with noise toys and Fox news on 38, 39, 415 and 425. Seems to be a thing on weekends. Lots of South America booming in on 555....big pileup there as well.....
Same - A lot of DX today. I could hear JJ on 37 when he wasn't being buried by the pile but couldn't get back to him. I made several contacts on 435LSB and then I had to go to work. I will try again tomorrow.
