11 meters sucks at times

I've a foolproof way to get those jackoff's out of my receiver.
I change the channel. I prefer hanging out above channel 40 anyway.
Not always but, free bands are usually free of J O's.
I've noticed a better class of operator usually chilling out above 40 (I prefer USB above 40.)
I'm not suggesting that anyone here is crying, but I have been known to use the phrase DON'T CRY QSY!
If skip is hot they'll be better chances of not only making contacts, but actually having a straight up QSO with your DX contact.
I've also noticed that if there's a station from Colorado, New Mexico, Florida, etc etc etc he's usually there having a rag chew session with his locals, and most don't mind a DX contact jumping in and joining in on that QSO.
As a matter of fact it's been my experience that those local DX stations enjoy having another DX'er join in.

It's times like this you want to go find the dummy, smack him few times, then enlighten him on what a dummy is....load that is.

But even then I doubt he'd get it.
