I have been able to raise the voltage on these to ~13.2.

Yes a lot of them can get to 13.2V have you had a chance to put it under a load close to it's limit? At 12V most of these will do 110% to 130% of listed specification with out tripping the protection.

Too bad we did not have a good list of which ones can truly get into the 13V range and which ones just will not play ball!
 
I opened the case and spun the pot. I was using a DPS-750.

I have seen guys online that run a resistor between that pot and some other place on the board using the entire length practically of the leads. Once they do that they then can adjust the pot as much as they want and it will not trip the protection.
