sunday night at 930 est i got a contact and had a short qso with 73 in north carolina from central florida,,, so again guys sunday afternoons and nights good time to drag out old equipment or use your modern rigs and get on channel 16 lsb and give a shout,,,,

I shout on 16 lsb daily, I have had a few really good skip contacts. A number of people are looking to make lsb 16, a stock radio call channel . Let the folks with power call on 38. I hope people will pass the word. Help make a place for old radios and stock radios. Room for everyone on cb, with a little planning it can be better for everyone.
That's the biggest problem...and the growing number of "bowl" channels. They seem to pop up everywhere now, and I'm even hearing superbowl lingo on 38lsb these days....and all the way to 27.600 AM. Kinda defies the bowl mentality, at least to me.
That said, I also try 16lsb periodically and have made quite a few contacts. The nice thing about it is you tend to get old school folks that are a real pleasure to talk to.
