160.00 mhz beam antenna??

Hello. Im into watching trains. And there Dispatch is on the 160.00 mhz area. Is there a beam or yagi made i could hook to my handheld scanner to hear them better?

Just my stock antenna on my BoeFeng Vr-5u

No wonder you can't hear anything.
You don't need Yagi, you need outdoor antenna placed as high as possible.

Actually it would be for when I'm at the train yard so something i can carry

You can diy that from telescopic antennas. Easy to carry.
