nope, i own a 93 and 94 ford escort, 2003 crown vic, 96 dodge 3500, 2002 peterbilt 379, and my old slow chevy a 1953 chevy pick up.

lol, my 93 escort is my daily driver, it only has a mere 559,000 miles on it.

no that is not a misprint... 559,000 miles

i bought it in 1994 as a second owner, at that time the car had less then 10,000 miles on it. the motor has never been rebuilt either.

the crown vic was my mothers at her passing, it only has 14,000 miles on it. i only drive it once a month. it still has the factory michellins on it.

Almost every cop car I see these days is a Dodge Charger. I haven't seen one of these things anywhere.

To the best of my knowledge, Ford has discontinued the Crown Vic. I agree, the Charger seems to have taken it's place with many departments. First Charger I ever saw used as a Squad was actually in Mexico a couple of years ago.

Participating police departments?? What happens is that the automobile manufacturer shifts over to make a once or twice a year run of vehicles meant for the police service with numbers based on the demand for them.Larger departments will purchase several at a time each year while small departments may only purchase one every couple years.
