In this case, how's your 10.240 main - running ok?
Why ask? See if the IF drift is from something the local Oscillator is throwing into this...
I found some weird - wired stuff that took me down a rabbit hole, but I also got nabbed by my XYL to go shopping...so had a busy day, go up two posts I updated post #12 with some of this stuff I found that as I researched this more I began to remember several times a forum erupted in flames from others bashing this issue over and over - so I'm not trying to re-open an old wound but it is important to know how RF gain gets powered and the differences that the Schematics' tell you, versus what your eyes see - very different story.
