You do realize that's 200 watts PEP which is around 100 watts AM? That's a great radio and talk very well, especially Sideband.
One of the locals just got one. He says the wiring/coax interfaces in the back have changed. It seems the wires come off the radio in the back several inches and you attach to those. I haven't seen it, but I don't care for that setup.
Looks like a galaxy 98vhp with a 2970dx face. i actually prefer the style of coax/power lead the new 2970N2 has gone to. The new 2970n2 is one of the radios on my wish list.
