Just work 2 stations in NJ ssb. The first was 5/7.. second was 5/9. We exchanged reports and grids. By the time we got to names.. he was gone. Just barely readable in the noise. Here...then gone like you flipped a switch. Gotta love the magic band!

I work lots of stations that are using an HF antenna on 6 meters. When it's wide open it doesn't take much. It's after all The Magic Band.Damn I have nothing up for 6. Might need to fix that tomorrow.
