I have not had an antenna connected in just over 13 weeks due to surgery but when I connect them we can make a contact I think.I am in EM80 & I run an ICOM 7600 with an ICOM PW-1 amplifier into an M2 6M5X at 55 ft. & I have worked the world with ease & your grid many times.

Officially on the air...my HF Yagi has a bad swr after sitting, but my VHF 2m and 6m beams are great :) been on 6 tonight listening, nothing yet... trying to learn the ic7000... im very confused alot of the time but its getting better.

cant wait to make my first QSO on 6 with the new setup.

I LOVE the ICOM 7000 so much I owned the same one Three different times before selling it to buy my ICOM 7600.I will own another before it's all over I'm sure. It's the best mobile ever made in my opinion.

Do you use a remote switch on your beams? Meaning one coax to switch between all your antennas on the tower?
I sold my 7000 about a year ago, ran it mobile but might remember a few tricks...So feel free to ask...I may remember a trick or two ???
I hope you get it ready for the VHF/UHF Contest this weekend!

Large Meteor Scatter group on every morning on 50.145 @ 7:00 AM EDST (US) many stations in FLA/GA and around the Gulf Coast. Plus many stations in Mid-West USA get on. Occasionally... ZF1EJ/Eden also on during that time.
Be great to hear C6 "In the Air". (What call will you be using?)

My call is C6ANU, My VHF is setup is good, flat SWR everywhere.

I use separate coax for everything. 2m Vert / Horiz polarization is separate LMR 400, 6M is separate, HF Yagi is separate. I have been on 6 all day trying to get someone... no luck...

did talk to russia on 20m with the help of my tuner. Need to drop my HF yagi and check the traps.

im ready to be on the air but i have two kids and have to go off island to a remote island for a project next week for a week so time is limited. But i will try. Where should i look around 2m SSB?

Jumped on 6 for about 2 hours this evening.. very busy coming out of the north east. Got a couple new states and several new grids. It died out quickly around 10:20 CST. I migrated to 144.200 and picked up a new grid in southern Missouri. Fun contest evening!
