:headbang And here I am with all my antennas still on the freaking ground! At this rate I may make it in time for the winter Es season. :headbang
Ten meters was open late last night.
I had the radio sitting there turned down and i heard a conservation fade in.
I moved up to 28.425 and worked several contacts... I remember WQ7G and W7TX among others.
Then moved down to 28.400 and made a few more before I had to get away from the radio.
Tuesday evening 6 meters sounded more like 20 meters during an HF contest. It was crazy and fun.
Also did anyone catch the 2 meter e-skip that evening?
I made a number of 2 meter SSB contacts of 700 to 1000 miles into the Maryland, Virginia and North & South Carolina area.
For me, it's the humidity. I have to stay here where the RH avg is 9%.
Temps get quite hot though! They say around here. " It's not Hell but if you reach out you will touch it"
Cooler today. 109°
