Southern Calidornia
I bought one of these off ebay. Took it apart and cleaned it up. Regressed as needed. Hooked it up to the controller and it works! The controller does not seem to callibarte the way the instructions says it is supposed to. I depressed the lever so that the rotor stops in the north position. Then continue depressing it to calabrate the needle to center on the West north position as indicated in the instructions. The needle stays centered on the south position. Anyone really know what is going on with it. Should I take my chances an buy another controller. I would not be the person to try to fix the controller. It looks fine to my untrained eye after taking it apart.

Curlyjo, here is a link to eHam forum that might help you with your rotor. There is a note there about Norm's Rotor Service with a link too.
