This is for the 979. Not sure how close it is, but if it's the same board you should be in business.
Watched a long vid on it and yup, its the exact same board and alignment procedure as a 979.

Just ordered one on Amazon. Because I need another radio. 
Just ordered mine, hope its a talker. I have to give ranger props on this one because, looking at all of the controls, they are what is needed and what is very useful. No dumb echo, colorful lights etc. They still put a talkback in it, yuk! If they put the tone control on that pot, the mode switch on the talkback control then something else on the mode switch, it would be perfect in my eyes for a cb with useful functions. But hey, 9 outa 10 aint bad. Hell, at least they put an on off switch on the talkback this time, yaaaay. Pshh lol

I might try the clarifier mod, I think I can put it back on frequency with the SDR on my computer and another side band radio? Couldn't be any worse than the way it comes from the factory? Just a simple adjustment of vr7 I hope.

Yeah mine is being delivered today! I plan to get clarifer unlocked and hopefully a Lescomm board I have already will do the trick!

I`m happy if people like the look, features, and 100W output but I just can't get past the fact it's a 979 board for $429.
