ANYONE HEARD THE JAMMER ON 38LSB

The mods over at QRZ dont like the thread, But the 11 PM's I had from hams all over the country that say the mods are being a little self righteous does say that I have a valid complaint.

If plastering someones personal info all over this forum is against the rules, then why was my info allowed to be thrown out to the public in a previous lengthy thread????

Look, the fact is. Im in FL and hes in OH. I figured since ALOT of people on this forum live in that area or have heard him in DXland, enough LEGAL FCC stir could be genearted to help fix the problem.

Yeah, I could just turn the channel and talk else were. But the fact still remains, I should not have to. If what he is doing is Illegal and interfering with other peoples communication, then it should be dealt with.

I personally spend most my time on the amateur bands, but If I want to talk with friends on 11 meter, I shouldnt have to put up with that nonsense.

And I would never acuse anyone of being an obama man, Id cuss your momma before that happened!

P.S. MODS, Sorry for starting this thread twice. I realized I put it in HAM GENERAL And resubmitted in cb DX. I tried to delete the post but It wouldnt let me.

first you say "I dont have a CB rig, I tuned in and listened on a HF rig"

then you don't want to "turn the channel and talk else were."

i'm gonna call bs on ya,..... pot meet kettle

You dont know me and you dont know my setup, but you may assume away.

Well DXhound, it can only happen two ways. First, you do have a CB radio and lied about it by stating that you did not have one. Yes, I saw the thread on qrz where you said you did not have a CB but used your HF rig to tune it in.

Secondly, if you did in fact tell the truth and don't have a CB and want to talk to your 11m friends then that must mean you are using your HF rig on 11m meters which is itself illegal.

I can't see a third option so which is it? A liar or an illegal operator? :D

Of course, there is another clown that also jams up 38LSB. Calls himself "The Prozac Kid' or "Dr. Footlong". He will sometimes broadcast on two or three channels - including AM - for a couple of hours non-stop...

Supposed to be somewhere in north/central Georgia...

Only one solution. You should invite him to this forum and then ban him.

(sorry I couldn't stop myself)

Well, Lets see. Yes this all started by my friend in ohio. Then I tuned my HF RIG NOT A CB into 27.385 LSB and heard what he discussed with me. When I said if I want to talk to my friends on 38lsb that was a circumstance. I used to talk on cb awhile back but have moved strictly into HF amateur.

What I cant figure out is peoples hostility with this situation. I am not a liar, and dont appreciate being called such. Sure, I used to use my 101e on 11 meter, but havent in a few months due to the recent HF activity. And im sure my illegal use of an HF rig bothers as many people as 24/7 Jamming.

So you know what, Ill try what Rick did and got nowhere by filling an FCC report. Thank you all for providing nothing of use to this.

Rich whatever you do dont ever post anything CB related at QRZ it turns into not a bonfire but a 8 alarm inferno within minutes. There are some people overthere that will email or PM you where nobody can see because of this exact problem.

I posted a 15-10 meter amplifier 2 years ago and HOLY $H!+SKIS IT WAS LIKE I JUST SET OFF AN ATOM BOMB!!!! Then I was told to not post anything CB related or anything that wasnt FCC type accepted again I imediately looked and seen 2950 radios among several other things listed so it may depend on who you are there???

Anyways just a word of advice dont post anything about CB radio there I know it sucks but it is what it is as far as HF rigs going into 11 meters several CB operators use them anyways all my HF rigs are capable of 11 meters but I actually use CB radios when checking into the Tuesday night net that another fellow Ham runs which there are alot of hams that check into I use my CB because my other rigs are all setup on particular bands so I wont mess with them if I dont have to.

As far as the Jamming nonsense good luck resolving that bud because its the nature of some beasts and theres usually no cure or way around it other than doing as mentioned and finding another frequency it sucks but what are you and your friends choices or options?? I think every state and county has a p!$$flap that acts a fool when he or she hits the power switch on there CB. Hell I hear the crap on 75-80 meters on a daily basis and if these idiots havent been dealt with then CB radio has an even longer wait if there is even any hope. Good luck with it all and hopefully the guy just eventually goes away but alot of times the trick is to not acknowledge them and they will eventually get bored and move on (in most cases)

Ha, you can if you have some testicular fortitude.

My initial username there was "CBer". Got a warm welcome.

Warm meaning flamed.

I think I started a very long thread once that was CB related.

I got some hate PM's on another topic that was fun.

PM's are not private.:w00t:

I posted screen shots of the haters PM's, much to their distress.;)

There used to be a fool with a ticket that showed his ass on 38LSB.

"Uncle Fester Bester Tester."

He had a pitiful Mad magazine routine.

If you want to be a jerk, at least be entertaining.

I hope your right tony, and yeah, I wasnt expecting the hostility on either forum. Yeah 75m is almost as bad 3938 is a fun one for sure

Who says QRZ are the Elite operators ..
I never saw or heard anything that can justify that !!

Regarding those who jam 38 lsb..
I dont recall hearing either of them over the decades
(ok this past yr or so i have not been on my radios much )

if those are creating an issue in jamming..
why not get together an old styled antenna coax clipping and or send the info of their location to the FCC and have complaints signed by local mayors or other politicians ( will get a fast response from the FCC then )

That is the first constructive post in this thread. I doubt a mayor or politician would sign something of that nature, but maybe worth a shot. I told Rick to try getting a local officer to visit the guys house with him and take along a copy of part 97 and a hand held and explain, then get the officer to help submit the FCC paperwork.
