I was hearing some St.Thomas(V.I.), and some Florida today 2pm (pt) along with lots of s mexico but it dropped out fast, then came lots of Ohio, Penn. maybe tell 330pm.
Then it all went to hell and AM skip was killing me from mex. So up to .555, and then Echo Charlie but that was dead for me after 4pm. I was at about 5600ft.5600ft dx.jpg dx.jpg

Don't count on the Amateur Radio Operators to be your CB radio cops.
IT'S Not their job.
The reason I say this is because WE have our problem children as well. Most hams would rather stick their heads in the sand than get some one in trouble. As was said to me today, "It is only one frequency. If you don't like what you are hearing change the frequency or turn your radio off." This as it was told to me by a local operator with over 30 years licensed operation.

Lol
I remember a couple guys, Cadillac Man was one I think, when the DX was good into the mid west this guy sat on 19 booking tours to Mexico.
Park your truck, hop on in a mini van, cross the border get wasted and hope you don't need a Dr appointment the next morning.
If the dx was rolling down in Texas , he was on 19 working the local drivers.
Every cycle you get people that raise hate and discontent on the bands, generally they park on 38 harassing the SSB guy's or 19 giving grief to drivers.
As this solar cycle ramps up there can be days that DX rolls in before the sun comes up, and past sunset working greyline and is in all day.
Back in the early 80' conditions were so active that it was almost impossible to talk local during the day because every channel was s7+ with propagation.
