Got it did that and your right had to fix I do know the swr reading on radio says 1.3 but on my meter it's 1.7 so going by meter now just have to play with it to get it lower

Glad you got it, I ruined my first radio on a cheap mag mount designed to look like a cell phone antenna. haha
Man if the swr protect is set at 20 and it was going into protection mode it really was jacked up. I set mine to protect at a 3 for my own comfort
I tried to set it to 3 but 2 of my computers say can't read is there a driver I need
We had it hooked up to my buddys laptop it worked to read factory settings but he left mine won't read it for.some reason
Still think I have a antenna problem on a swr meter the lowest I can get is a 1.7 and on radio says 1.3
If you are using Windows 10 with the default antivirus, it is probably being blocked by the antivirus. Not using the Wndows 10 antivirus right now, so I can't remember exactly where to go into the antivirus settings to make the change. If the antivirus is blocking the program, you will be able to see in the settings that it is being blocked, so just change it to allow, and the program should work.
I tried it some reason says malfunctioned might have to send it out to be checked but other then that it works.Its not reading it through the usb port.
If it's a desktop computer, try the USB ports on the back instead of the front. On my desktop computer, my digital camera--for some odd reason--will not work right with the front USB ports, but it works fine using the ports on the back of the computer. The front USB ports work just fine with USB drives, but will not work with my digital camera.
