ANYTONE ARES II BASE

Amazing what can be done with a 3D Printer for sure.

That said just like in the past it is too easy to bolt a mobile to a desktop or add stick on feet. Add a cheap power supply and cheap freq. counter today. Technicaly it has a freq. indicator not to be confused with a freq. counter that is real time and not just a pre-programed display.

If we assume it is rated at 12-13 volts we are talkng what 3.8 to 4.16 amps total for pep of 50watts??? Not talking much for a power supply especially a switcher!

If you turn the power down you could get away with far less. No need at all for a Server Power supply a cheap switcher would do!

You could get some nice Maple, Oak, Walnut from a downed tree and do something far nicer than a 3D Printed enclosure!

I would though get a nice West Moutain Radio DSP unit or like used, the radio and a power supply and just run them as is. No one is going to see if you have it in a big box or not! All that matters is peromance or results!
