Anytone AT-5555n Service Manual.

I have not seen a service manual for the at-5555 so far. I did some searching on a sight in the UK I think it is. no luck there either.

I was just back on the site I mentioned and one of the guys took a picture of the board for the at-5555 radios and all the Vr's were marked as to what they controlled. what pic he posted showed the asq vr and ssbpower VR. have you looked inside yours as of yet?

Looking into this radio for a station addition. Would any of you owners give some input about this rig. I'm asking about the "n" version not the original 5555.

I found this pic on Amazon on the adjustment points.

Well after bouncing the decision between the 5555n and a couple of other choices, I now have one of these on the way. For it's capabilities the price is nice and think it will pair well with the kl-503hd.

Done with buying radios, enough in the arsenal to get through apocalypse.

Will be reporting later down the road, but still have to finish the galaxy I've not had time to get back to.

bf adjusts the frequency of the 10.24Mhz BFO
fd0,4,5,9. What do these control? Hmmm. Bingo! These are for fine tuning! The radio performs fine tuning by adjusting the voltage across a set of varicaps, which affects capacitance and hence the frequency of the oscillator. These must be the limit voltages for .00, .04, .05, .09
lo controls the local oscillator offset.
