Anytone AT 6666 150 watts?

Ok once again...
Slugs...note one is

aside from crap on his desk
It's this I question...

Ok, span of 52MHz but Visible Bandwidth of 1MHz - only shows part of a bigger window...

This is the output of his SIGNAL GENERATOR - the radio we cannot prove in TX mode...

Because If he's showing this...

And you get that...(His PEP?)

Wow, ok, more than a 4:1 ratio here...but to each his own...

Further into the video...what else shows up - or should I say that same thing all over again and I can only presume the mode and method are still the same - Radio? Can't prove this reading setting either...

Now I see 80 watts...Average? Can only presume radio and mode (SSB)?

Again...look carefully...
on his PEP meter...

What I cannot understand is the SAME Reading from different modes...

I can only deduct that the radio is not tuned up - it's over peaked. Meaning 150 watts of PEP if he calls it that simply is showing harmonics, distortion and who knows what else...

Now the envelope shows mishmash...no cutoff - was he in FM mode(?) - looks like it to me...

He shows us a spectrum analyzer, with a nice tone, but we cant prove if it is or not the radio under test doing that...was it transmitting...or receiving...?

150 watts PEP - all the same readings - from whatever that meter is being fed from - and again, with all the crap on the desk, we have no clue if that signal is from the 6666 or something else...

And he's throwing all of this into a spectrum analyzer - in limited bandwidth - see arrows - RBW Receive Band Width, VBW Visual Band width - Gratitude scale of 5MHz but doesn't match - looks like it's zoomed in...

Have fun...

SSSSSSSSSSNAKE OIL....
He caters to ignorant meter watchers and cb'ers who dont have a clue with a little money to spend and months to waste.
My history with this les is well documented in other forums and IMO hes a ripoff.
I always get a laugh when this fool is called out on his BS...

Just got finished watching one of Less Comms videos. How in the world does he get 150 PEP out of that radio?

It’s easy but after the customer gets it back in just a short amount of time that radio will take a big shit. If the radio was made to do 150, it would have did it out the box.

I was only doing 12w pep. But then I spread the coils......
You should never spread those coils. They are tuned for the frequencies you’re on. That’s why there’s more than one because of the bands in that radio. You are changing the SWR ratio when you spread those & you will see a power change. Same as you using a antenna tuner behind the radio , the more of a match the power changes. Don’t touch those.

That chasis can not dissipate that much heat! I would never push a radio that hard.

I think that is a recipe for failure with non-rf mosfets! I know the parts are cheap but shipping and labor add up in a hurry.
