Anytone AT-6666 SSB power Adjustment?

I am just trying to figure out how the Anytone AT-6666 SSB power can be internally turned down. I would like it to operate between 25-30watts. My guess is I could adjust the POT labeled SSB PH inside on the board. Can anyone tell me if they have done this and how?

I use the RF knob on the RF gain and RF power knob to adjust output power.

Does the AT 6666 has a built in power meter to measure tx output? Or do i have to connect a external meter for that?

You have a knob on the top row labeled PWR for RF power going out of the radio. Just use a wattmeter ands dial the output power back. No need to get inside the radio. God to Youtube.com and watch a few editorials on the radio to find out what dials do what, if you do not have a manual for the radio. KI5UHA or 030 on 27.385 to 425 lsb, Gary.

You can adjust W3 (SSBPH), but I would adjust W6 (SSBANL) first. If you can't get down to 25~30 watts, then adjust W3 for less than 12v @ TP9.

W6 - SSBANL - SSB Modulation - 60watt RF Power Max

SSB/ANL is sideband modulation not power.

Does the at-6666 have a service menu that's hidden like the at-5555 and other various radios made by the same manufacture has where all those same adjustments can be made ?..
I believe one can adjust the frequency's for each mode in the hidden menu on the at-5555 plus or atleast the one I use to have last year had adjustments for everything and then some in the service menu.

Yes.

There are multiple AT-6666 threads here with the lonest one giving info on how to access the service menu. Since you are familiar with the AT-5555 service menu, I won't waste your time with the usual warnings. Having said that, the Q6 does have internal adjustments (VR's) that the Q5N2 does not. The Q6's service menu is much shorter than the Q5N2. Q6 Power and modulation settings are on the board - not in the service menu.

I found this a while back, I am not sure where I got it. It is probably based on the earliest version 6666 so it may not apply to a more recent radio. The 6666Pro is completely different though. Use at your own risk.

If you have anything else you could share on the q6 that hasn't been shared on this thread I would be very grateful to have it all or as much info as I can fi d on the q6 it's my favorite rig

I use mine as a base and I have made a custom microphone module to help it modulate much better
