ANYTONE AT-6666 "Verses" PRESIDENT LINCOLN 2+ ?

I have both, and I like both of them. But I prefer the Lincoln for a couple of reasons, the most important (for me) being that it shows the frequency even in channel mode. The Quad 6 is either/or.
i agree. as far as the rest a close by friend has 6666 n i got my lincolin we got better groundplanes n we both talk about same distances get told we both sound great to id say 6 of 1,half dozen of the other.
1 thing i dislike about the 6666 over the lincolin is the clarifier knob location,in a too congested area. prolly my main dislike. didnt say i dislike the radio but a few things like that. lincolin has its quirks too. channel selecter knob is not good on lincolin. i put smaller knob on thats round helps channel surfing

Thanks to all for chiming in on this one , I read a lot in prior threads about these radios as well , I really have not heard to much bad about them at all , seems the good really out weighs anything bad. Looks like the cost and what you get for your money is surely a bargain. Hopefully in a few days I'll get to experience the experience. Thank you ! Switch

Quad 6 , although I'm reading they aren't to swift when it comes to running a little extra power on the side , sounds like there more just plug and play with a little extra (a lot really) I realize 50 to 60 watts AM and SSB can still go a long way , sounds like out of the box there good to go .
