The all look like they have the same basic layout on the face of the radio. Is one better than the other? Copper has the Ranger SS-9000 on sail for the weekend. I hear they use the Galaxy 88 board. Just looking at it for the price. I don't think I would buy Would need a tune and be converted.
 

The Voyage VR9000 used the Super Star 3900 board it was a completely different mod for the frequency expansion that it was for the Galaxy 88. The voyage and the Super Star mod ification for expanded coverage was removing a series of diodes on the top side or foil side of the board ;)
