PM me if your so upset about the dropping of code and want to now teach the world a lesson and sell your HF gear.

I may be interested in buying.

Are they crying on QRZ? I haven't looked there in a while 8)

I feel the only requirement should be to pass a code test
on frequencies allocated for morse code.
If you don't use them, then there is no need to pass a test.

Why get a class A drivers license if you only drive a car?

Code has been turning people off for years, it is about time!

My feelings are, this has more to do with money then anything else.

That would be any and all frequencies then. I assume you mean the CW only portions but CW is allowed on ANY amateur freq. By that same logic one should have to pass differant tests for EVERY mode one wants to use including SSB,AM,FM,SSTV,FSTV,RTTY,etc, etc, etc.I feel that if the CW requirement is dropped then there should be NO test for CW at all regardless if one wants to use it or not. CW will NEVER be outlawed as a mode but there should not be a test for it if you choose to use it.

Simple.

This would be my solution and would of course generate money $$$

This is all about the all mighty dollar anyway.

The last thing ANYONE who knows code wants is someone
practicing on the CW freqs.

The above mentioned modes are very different from morse code.

Yes.

Moot point----->At one time code was an entry level requirement for Amateur Radio, now they will let anybody in who came memorize 71% of the answers in the question pool.

All of those "no-code" extras are gonna be sooooo special, I cannot wait, maybe another month(?).

By lowering the requirements, you cheapen the accomplishments of those worked to earn their license class.

Quit being so bitter, not everyone is as intelligent as you.
