When I was a boy, my daddy had a 12 volt fan in his 66 Rambler. I remember it being all metal and was fairly powerful. He clipped it up in the corner of the windshield. It was probably 6-8 inch in diameter.

I want one for my Cherokee. The ones I've been seeing are plastic junky looking. Do they make a good one for professional driver use. Figured a trucker would know of a good one.

Thanky

They do, still a metal one. I’ve ordered a few for some of my trucker customers. I’ll look and see if I have one left or if I can still get them. I can’t remember who they’re made by though...

If you have a NAPA near you, they should be able to get you one too.

It’s made by Bar Jan. They make two different ones, the other has blue plastic blades. But yeah...still available but most likely not exactly like what you remember.

Try bus suppliers. They’re the guys still stuck with giant windshields. Passenger liability drives quality parts. Schools or Greyhound.
