best i used was Cobra 142 GTL
was a long time ago but i think it had SSB

Of the exports my best receive until now is the 2950DX and the 2995DX after i took away the original underpowered powersupply and modified it for an external 40amp powersupply
In Norway we have 220v 50hz system which made the internal powersupply inerfere both tx and rx
I prefer the softer Ranger rx over the Lincolns sharper one.

If you only need 11 meters, I will have to chime in in the side of the Uniden Grant XL/LT series, as well as the Cobra 148 (old-style, NOT any of the newer ones with the mic out the front).
