Beware of superhawkwss6 on Ebay

I find this whole thread to be a load of crap...............

I have never "sold"anything to Chris, but I have talked to him plenty of times on the phone, and bought stuff from him several times, and never been disappointed... Everything I have bought from him, if it said it was in Mint condition, when I got it, it looked like it just came from the factory...

Looking at allot of the people posting negatively in this thread (including the original poster) It looks to me like they joined here, just to post in this one thread, then disappeared...I'm thinking these guys with less than 5 or 6 posts, are all the same person just trying to stir the pot on superhawk...

Sounds more like someone thought they got a bad deal because Chris wasn't satisfied with something he purchased from them, and is going around to different Forums just to try and ruin his business...

As for the guy who said he lives 8 miles from Chris's shop, but has never herd of the place, and thinks the guy is basically working out of a garage or something...That's not that uncommon....With the Internet, lot's of people don't have store fronts, and just work out of their house...

Heck, Kale doesn't have a factory or store front, and builds the Predator 10K antenna's out of his shed in the backyard! But sells his antenna's world-wide...not to mention, he doesn't even have a Web. Site...

Now I will say Chris's price's are a little on the high-side on some things...Like the Cobra 2000 GTL he had listed for $1499, and I think he still has a Browning listed at close to 2K, but these radios are in MINT condition so if someone was looking for a Mint 30-40 year old radio your going to pay for it...

Plus......NO ONE is forcing you to buy a radio from Chris, so if you don't like what he's asking, just keep looking... "Are his radios actually worth what he is asking?" Maybe not to everyone, but some will pay out the nose for "Like-New" products...

Heck......I seen a box of Twinkies on eBay selling for over $500...And right under that listing was a similar box for $49...

I'm not going to trash the guy trying to get $500 for a box of Twinkies, if someone wants to pay that, why not sell it to them?

I just browsed through the thread some of the ID's that posted seem suspicious.:what:
Ya know maybe I should post a dumb thread about how this recent eBay purchase from a HAM was a total crap storm...ah not worth my time I got my money and that's that.(y) oh and I bought two box of 12 raspberry filled donuts and a 12 count box of ding dongs. I finished em in 2 weeks by my self I think I'm hostess'ed out!

Everything that has been said about that creep, Chris, is true. I am not some "one time poster" here, and I have dealt with this bum. He tried to extort me for money after a sale, but I won the case thru ebay and paypal. Not bitter, but JJD is WRONG on this one. The guy is a THIEF! and not a very good one.

Chris claims he sells "premium" gear.. LOL. I'll bet the farm its NOT that great... Would i pay almost 2 k for a Browning MK 3? HECK NOOOO!!!!!!!!! They are a cool old rig but NOT that GREAT!

Honestly if i had the money I'd pay around $2500 for a mint brand new Browning mk3 with of course a golden eagle and a joegunn hillbilly antenna (y)

All I said was I have never been burned by something I have bought from him...Now if he buys something from you and then he says he wants his money back because the item is not as you described, and you say it was, then that's a different story...

I'm just saying what I bought from him, when I got it, it was if anything "Better" than described...

hmm

he is a crook. i bought a new in the box 148gtl.
when i got it it was a old beat up 148 that did not work.
i won my case but that's not my point. if i pay for new i do not want a beat up pos

I think most of his lovingly described items are bullshit.

I take care of my stuff and could easily give them a careful cleaning, put it back in the original box and sell it as NOS.

He has enough bad feedback on Google that speaks for itself.

Remember old Martyn? He had pretty damn good feedback before he left ebay and started his own thing. He bought his feedback revisions. He sold me a big ass turd of a TS-450 that was described like it was a museum piece or something. It was all beat up and looked like shit.

I won my case including shipping the turd back to him. I left him neg feedback, then about 3 weeks later he sent me $20 to my paypal account and asked me nicely to revise his feedback. I returned his bribe and told him to piss off.

I imagine most dorks that got burned by him took him up on his scheme.

A pox on that goober.

This thread is probably just going to go in circles. As m42duster said Google has plenty of feedback on this fella superhawk:eek:

ebay promotes scammers

superhawkwss6 is a real piece of work. he buys and sells radio equiptment on ebay. this guy is a real scammer. He takes advantage of eBay's buyer protection rules and steals your item. He will bid on your item and win it and buy it. a week or so later after he receives it you get a notice from eBay or Paypal that he has initiated a significantly not as described case against you and before you can even reply to that he has escalalated to a claim. eBay and Paypal always side with him(as they do any buyer), and make you refund his money. then he sends back a box of junk, uasally a radio carcass. not the item you sent him. he has done this to numerous people. just go to eBay and check his feedback. many have complained to eBay about what he has done and even submitted pictures of the item he was supposed to have sent back to them which exactly matches identical items he has for sale, right down to the marks and scratches yet eBay will do nothing about him. he always says that the seller has baited and switched him but how can one person be baited and switched so many times. He has 100% positive feedback but the reason for this is you cant give a buyer negative feedback on ebay. just go into his feedback and search the feedback he has left for others and you will find the people he has screwed. he goes by superhawkwss6 on eBay. his name is Chris Pasquinelli and lives in Ft Washington Maryland. he operates a radio shop called turbo electronics
thanks

This is how ebay operates. I have even received back an empty box and ebay still took my money and gave it back to the scammer. I wish there was something besides ebay to sell on. They are TOTALLY for the buyer (scammer) and always take your money and give it to them.
