The uber wealthy have received redonkalous tax breaks and undeserved low rates for far too long and my goodness just look at our nation's deficit!

So all of you here must shirley be in favor of raising taxes on the rich and definitely the super rich. I think they are defining "rich" as making over 1 million bucks a year. That would work for me anyway. And yes...I just called you Shirley.

So every single voting member here must be in favor of higher taxes on the rich.

I reason thusly as apparently there are NO rich members currently enrolled here at this fine institution of higher learning. 'Cause if there was....then they would, shirley, out of the kind generosity of their hearts, be mailing out each one of us less fortunate fookin slhobs a "Happy Fun Bonus Remittance" at least once a year, to share their rich exuberance with the American Way with us, their fraternity brothers here at WWRF University, so that we might all be able to get a little better radio this year and have hope towards a little better radio next year when our Happy Fun Bonus Remittance arrives next year, and each year after that..... until they die.

So here's to raising taxes on the wealthy. It's long overdue and Uncle Sam needs YOU !!!

I think the esteemed representative from Iowa called for a 7% across the board.
Line-by-line revisions through the whole budget.
This will stimulate spending and investment at the grass root level of the economy.
15% is waaay too much money!!

With a 7% tax - with an invigorated economy and growth - the surplus taxes collected (yes; a 'surplus') can begin to pay off the debt principle.

I have heard the expression that said: "Beneath the surface of a Southern Democrat, is a fiscal conservative".
Hope that is true . . .

I was using a figure I heard from someone several years back. I wish I could remember who it was and find his original figures justifying the 15% flat tax as it actually made sense.
He said something about no sales tax on anything, Fed collects 15%, gives 7% to all states equally who would divide equally on down the line.
No state tax, etc, etc.
I will keep looking for it and link to it if I can find it.
His numbers made sense and added up.

The original Flat Tax proposal...out for many several years now, figured it up at like 22-23% if I recall correctly.

With the greatly increased deficit level since then, I don't see how a 7 or a 15 percent level gets the job done now but hey, they use New Math up in D.C. and nobody can figure out how they figure out their figures.

Are any of the fine politicos in the current field advocating for the Flat Tax and the decriminalization of marygeewanna? If so I'll gladly kick Obama to the curb and vote for a republican for the first time in my life.

And I mean it. My sister is the mayor of my town and I didn't vote for her....the republican skank.

Is Gary Johnson still running? He's for ending the war on drugs. Wonder what his stance is on the Flat Tax?

The fair tax would be a better option as it would tax the underground economy as well. If Wire Weasel chooses to suck dick on a street corner at least he would have to pay his share of taxes when he went to buy mouthwash and anal lube.

It is Not about taxing the Rich more..( this will not help us )

It is however about getting rid of UnJustified Entitlements..
No i am not simply talking about welfare beaters who steel basically.

Let these Big corporations fund all their own research on their own dimes ( money ) and stop allowing then to get all these crazy tax credits ( many of these corporations and companies are already in record profits..they are Not down and out).

Also stop all these crazy entitlements given unjustly to people..
Like how as example..there is a program in Pa.. that enables out of state people to attend a college/university ( often already via a misguided grant)..then..those people can say/claim they have no money or job and need living expenses...so what does Pa do....give those students food stamps as well as $500 a month in cash ( sent directly to their atm card...
Although it sounds good...it is not the low income people who are taking advantage of this..rather middle and upper class people who do not have to show they are down and out to qualify for the entitlement program..
( so now my taxes has wound up sending my wealthy neighbors kid to college/university while also giving those same kids $500 a month along with food stamps)

So..The goverment collects what it does in tax revenue in one side... on the other it blindly gives entitlements to countless who are not ( or should not ) be so entitled..

the example i gave was but one extremely small example..
There are 1000's of other such wasteful programs that are ripe with extreme taking advantage of entitlement programs..

The Oboma mind is to give everyone what looks like ( what one perceives as needing ) but do not force the people to work for it..
These people need make due with a smaller amount of money but do so because it is easy ( and in their minds surely easier then working hard for their money )..

if Entitlement programs were closed ( the useless ones..and there are many countless useless ones) and keep in mind...one can not and never should touch entitlement programs for the elderly or military or those who are legitimaly disabled ..

everyone else should work..pay for what they need require..

There is no such thing as a free lunch..

What...you think free meds like in canada or in europe is good..
Then why when one is told they are suffering from this or that illness do they all of the sudden come to usa for meds ? .. because their country puts them on a list to receive med services..

my point..there is no free lunch...no free rides..
