It only takes a success rate of 0.01% if that is the time it actually works and hits it's intended target and starts something that cannot be easily recovered from. Make no mistake, NK may be playing with 50 year old Soviet technology but 50 years ago in 1963 Russia was a major concern to the USA. Also make no mistake about NK and Iran being in bed together in an effort to develop a ballistic missile and a warhead to fit atop it.
Israel is not overly concerned with NK except as it relates to their relationship with Iran. They are much more concerned with Syria and Iran itself.

Israel is hated by all muslim states; Egypt,Iran,Iraq,Turkey,Kazakhstan,Afghanistan,Turkmenistan,kuwait,syria just to list a few.
We're allies with israel which pisses off Iran (dont blame then) and N. Korea.
IMHO The world is a dirty f'd up place. Not one country is perfect we're all messed up. God should just slam us with a comet and start over or maybe its time the reptilians in society come forward and show us humans up.
It's the human race that's fubared.
I think a certain percentage of people are 'mean spirited' and then there is a certain percentage of people that are so miserable with their life that they are not happy unless they are making someone else miserable; And I ain't said nothing about "GREED" yet.
And let's not leave out the 'crazy' people that do bad stuff and don't even have a reason or even know why they do bad stuff.

You left out the rather large......no HUGE percentage, of people who think their way is better and that they themselves are better than someone simply because of where they live, and what deity they follow.
From the beginning of times & creation, there has been both good & evil in the hearts & minds of people. Major religions tend to agree that all of us contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. Most subscribe to the belief that it is imbedded in human nature (if I may use the term) and that every person has the ability to choose good or evil. Some argue that these inclinations are logically necessary if man is to have free will. The leaders of NK and Iran have not only shown evil disregard for their own people, but neither country deny that their actions are intended to destroy other human beings (Pakistan & India's alibi are self-defense). If we start the war, then the blame of evil will lie behind us whom accuse their wrongdoings. To re-group & be prepared is, IMHO, the best course at this time. Sanctions & diplomacy may not look like the best tools, but should work better than other choices & will maintain the alliance.
I'm just wondering when these people will stop resorting to cannibalism. I realize they're starving, but, DAMN, eating their own children? (Google that at your leisure).
I'd let the bastards say whatever they want and build it too because if we step in and destroy it, we are the aggressor. Just make sure NK knows if they fire off one of their 1 megaton firecrackers at us, 100 megatons will be making the return trip back before theirs ever gets here.
