Yeah I saw what I thought was Kapton but when I enlarged the photo I saw just the paper. This is from the Fish paper website:It's a thermal CONDUCTOR.
But an electrical insulator. DuPont's trade name for this stuff is "Kapton".

You could use Chromerics thermal pads which are die cut and reinforced with a fiberglass strands. You don't even need grease with those.thanks for the insight guys.
Its super thin and from my rodek car amp for the mosfets.
I seen kapton tape but thats more clear, I dunno but I'm not gonna pay $76 a roll.
I guess TO-247/220 sil-pads will have to do.
This stuff has a cellulose feel and when you flick it, sounds like a cellulose plastic.
A couple got torn and now I got everything on hold to locate a substitute.
