Can i mix an hg with a dei?

I love you guys but y’all janky... y’all filling the man full of fear for no reason. I don’t feel as confident in the DEI pieces as I would others but I’ve mixed different brand names and hammered them without issue.

I’d email Thomas and ask him to match as close as he could to what I had, drop it in and hammer it. If it works and last, good. If it blows the cover off, you’re no worse than you are now.

Always pays to replace the large resistors close to the finals - IIRC . . .
At least - test them.

Its not worth putting all new transistors in it, to me anyway. I dont like the new texas star boxes, rubbish. If i cant find 2 dei transistors in the next week im just gonna sell it on here for parts or repair.

Nope. Im no electronics expert, i figured its just a bad transistor. All the other 7 are just fine.
