Cant find a radio repair person anywhere

I have to agree. Its a bitch trying to find a real technician who can fix a broken radio. Pot turners are a dime a dozen.

Yeah lots of them around with NO technical exp and cant read or understand a schematic. I knew one that couldn't read but still did peak and tune stuff. I only went to him if I needed a mic wired of very simple no brainer stuff

A buddy of mine just sent some radios to cbwizz in Massachusetts. No idea if he is any good, probably not, but they are apparently accepting mail ins.

Cranky at Radioway Electronics is pretty good. He is an engineer by day, and fixes radios and stuff in the evenings. Best way to contact him is Facebook messenger. He has Facebook page and a website. Pretty sure he takes mail ins.

makes me think,kid graduated college. He went in this huge supply house lookin for a job.secretary sent him to the owner who was settin behind his newspaper smokin a big stogie.
He asked the kid what he needed?
The kid said i graduated college n i got these degrees. Old guy kept smokin n readin his paper,he got up after he finished readin paper n said yep we can use you.
He opened the door behind him to the warehouse n said here is a good broom start sweeping.
The kid said but i got these degrees a BA ,a BS n 3 others.
Old man laid his stogie in an ash tray n said OPPS MY BAD LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO SWEEP THE FLOOR.
Those certificates fit in here somehow? HahahaHAHAHAHAHA

Degrees are nice, but it takes real world experience to put the value in them, otherwise they're just expensive pieces of paper.
